The Love Between Us

 

During the Covid-19 pandemic we experience restricted human contact on a scale few had ever imagined. With social distancing and heavy limitations on border crossings, questions arise on the long term effects these restrictions have on our relationships, both far and near - even our relationship with the self. It is a time of intense longing, uncertainty and tragedy. For many there is a lack of physical contact and deep conversation. How do we maintain our bonds, passion and feeling of belonging within an unpredictable time frame? 
Nina's performance explores the confinement felt within both body and mind during the pandemic, how uncertainty affects the perception of time and how lack of intimacy creates a strange and painful awareness of what love means to each of us.
